Leonid Desyatnikov. Anniversary author's evening - Haifa

Anniversary concerts of one of the most prominent and famous contemporary composers – Leonid Desyatnikov in honor of his 70th birthday.

Desyatnikov's music is original, melodic, elegant. This is music that becomes a ballet, a soundtrack to a film or a powerful wave coming from the stages of the best concert venues in the world. Alexey Ratmansky staged 6 ballets to Desyatnikov's music. The opera "Rosenthal's Children", staged at the Bolshoi Theatre by Eimuntas Nekrosius, became an event. Music written for cinema by Desyatnikov is heard in almost a dozen and a half films.

Famous pianists Polina Osetinskaya and Alexey Goribol , violinist Vladislav Pesin and tenor Sergey Godin will perform the composer's works at the anniversary concerts in Tel Aviv and Haifa . Desyatnikov's works from different years will be performed, including preludes from the cycle "Bukovinian Songs", "Wie der alte Leiermann..." in German and Hebrew, "The Death of…
